Jean Newlove visiting Teesside and Ormsby Hall

I was delighted having had the privilege to be involved in the organization and facilitation of the visit of Jean Newlove to Teesside University and Ormsby Hall in October. Jean now aged 91, was R.v. Laban's first assistant and is the author of the books, Laban for All (2004), Laban for actors and dancers (1993) and her bibliography Yum Di Dee Dah (2013).

Her public lecture which is available online was fascinating and the one day masterclass to the Dance and Acting students at Teesside University a most inspiring event.
